Unleashing the Inner Storyteller: Screenwriting Takes Center Stage at Walking Talkies!
The fifth workshop of the Walking Talkies program at Ratnawali Girls’ College today immersed the enthusiastic students in the art of screenwriting! This session, the second dedicated to this crucial aspect of filmmaking, saw a remarkable level of engagement as the young participants delved deeper into crafting compelling narratives for the screen.
The directors of the Walking Talkies team, Mr. Ravindu Fernando and Priyan Shanaka, expertly guided the students through a comprehensive exploration of screenwriting. The workshop covered a wide array of topics, from the fundamental principles of crafting a compelling screenplay to effective approaches for structuring stories and developing engaging characters. The students eagerly absorbed the information, their minds buzzing with creative possibilities.
The session fostered a dynamic learning environment, encouraging the girls to unleash their inner storytellers and translate their ideas into written form. The high level of interest and the thoughtful questions posed by the students underscored their growing understanding of the power of a well-crafted screenplay as the foundation of any successful film.

වෝකින් ටෝකීස් කණ්ඩායමේ අධ්යක්ෂවරුන් වන රවිඳු ප්රනාන්දු සහ ප්රියාන් ශානක මහතා තිර රචනය පිළිබඳ පුළුල් සහ ගවේෂණාත්මක ලෙස සිසුන්ට මඟ පෙන්වූහ. මෙම වැඩමුළුව මගින් ආකර්ශනීය තිර රචනයක් නිර්මාණය කිරීමේ මූලික මූලධර්මවල සිට තිරපිටපත්වල ආකෘතීන් සහ ආකර්ශනීය ලෙස චරිත සංවර්ධනය කිරීම සඳහා ප්රායෝගිකව දැනුම ලබා දීමට පුළුල් මාතෘකා රාශියක් ආවරණය කරන ලදී. සිසුන් උනන්දුවෙන් අපගේ ක්රියාකාරකම් සහ දේශන ග්රහණය කරගත් අතර, ඔවුන්ගේ මනස නිර්මාණාත්මක හැකියාවන්ගෙන් පිරී ගිය බව දක්නට ලැබිණි.
